Synergy on Boards Consulting Group promotes, and supports the advancement of Black, Indigenous, and other visible minority subject matter experts and senior level executives seeking to take their strong voices and expertise to the boardroom and to other decision-making tables.  They advocate for both gender parity and cognitive diversity in the boardroom and other governance bodies.

They provide a pathway for members to gain knowledge on the fundamentals of corporate governance, codes of conduct, the regulatory framework and more.  They seek to amplify the interests of Black, Indigenous and visible minorities who aspire to be on paid boards, non-profit boards, crown corporation boards, crown committees, public office appointments and elected office.

Synergy on Boards Consulting group believes that companies have a responsibility to meet the United Nations sustainability development (SDG) goals.  They are doing their part to achieve gender equality (#5) Reduced Inequality (#10) and Partnerships to achieve the goals (#17).

Launched in 2015 in Canada and now also in the US, Australia, New Zealand and UK, this visionary model is emerging as a leading global innovation that is totally unique. Rather than trying to fit women into the existing models and systems and level the playing field, we are creating an entirely new field.

SheEO pushes the reset button on how to support women on their own terms. We focus on bringing out the best of women by being radically generous to one another. 

The model brings together women from all different backgrounds + ages, called Activators who contribute to a Perpetual Fund that is loaned out at zero percent interest to women-led Ventures who are working on the World’s To-Do List, who are selected by the Activators. 

All Ventures are revenue generating with export potential + are creating a better world through their business model. The loans are paid back over five years and then loaned out again, creating a Perpetual Fund which we will pass on to our daughters, nieces and granddaughters. 

The SheEO network is radically generous, there are thousands of women who share their expertise, networks + connections.

A registered charity now governed by its own Board of Directors, the Discovery Foundation’s mandate is to promote and facilitate the development and sustainability of the science and technology sector in British Columbia.

The Discovery Foundation focuses on programs that encourage and support equity, diversity, and inclusion.  Its principal service is the delivery of the Technology Education Program (TEP) through selected Agents who educate technology entrepreneurs in British Columbia.  Each year, industry organizations and educational institutions apply to be TEP Agents through a competitive process.  This process ensures the delivery of the highest quality programs.
